Title: Ready for my toughest mission, KTC
Post by: piatt33 on December 16, 2020, 09:43:20 AM
Hey everyone! New to this site, and ready to start this journey. I’m Retired Army, few tours overseas, and already know this is going to be the hardest mission I’ve ever had to face! Been dipping for almost 20 years now, and its time to KTC. I know it’s not going to be easy, it’s going to F’ing suck, but ready to embrace the suck.,, That’s why I have turned to this page, hoping to find some  support and maybe to find a battle buddy that is going through this as well.. LETs GET IT!!!

Need to learn how to use this forum stuff

Welcome @piatt33 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18641) !!

To start out, let's get you on roll. Follow this link March 2021 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16832.new#lastPost) and follow the instructions.

Here at KTC we quit one day a time (ODAAT). We don't quit for forever; we quit for TODAY. Posting roll is making a daily promise (right away in the morning) to yourself and this community that no nicotine in ANY form will enter your body. Since today is all we can control, we focus on that.

The process is incredibly simple but not always easy. But that is why we are all here together - to hold each other accountable and support each other in this daily journey. After you post roll, start to share your phone number with your fellow quitters using the "My Messages" tool in the upper toolbar (or the envelop icon up top if you are on your mobile device). Since this is an accountability site, it is expected you allow yourself to be held accountable as well as hold your fellow quitters accountable.

So jump in and don't look back. The freedom that comes with being nicotine free is truly incredible. Proud to be quit with you TODAY.

Piatt33, MNXENGINEER has laid it out on the line for you. I have even considered copying and saving his post to use in the future. You have found the right place and have made the choice, so those 2 pieces are behind you. Can you make a promise to not use the rest of the day? If so, today is day 1. Figure out tomorrow in the morning. Proud to quit with you
