Finally getting around to making my introduction. My name is golfmaniac12 and I have been dipping since the age of 15 (Currently 31). I have had some successful stints of 1+ years of quit but always get lured back into the worm dirt by convincing myself I can have just one dip. No more! It's time to kick this mind controlling habit to the curb! I am doing this for my health, wallet, and the folks around me. I am also going to cut my drinking as it has been a huge trigger to picking up a can. Shooting for 3 beers or 2 mixed drinks in social situations. None outside of that. We don't need these substances to live a great life. Glad to finally be a part of the KTC community and i look forward to contributing as much as I can to help another quitter. Lets goooo!

Welcome to KTC @golfmaniac12 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=19683). Let me offer a few points of clarification. First, you never had a successful quit before, you had stoppages. Quitting is what you are going to do here. By following the routine here, WUPP EDD and keeping your promise, you will stay quit. Also, it isn’t a habit. It is an addiction. We are all addicts and nicotine is our drug. Stay focused on quitting one day at a time and make some solid connections with fellow quitters. My digits are in your inbox. You can do this and we are here to help.

It's amazing to think about going from age 15 to 31 and dipping that entire time - 16 years! Nicotine is so powerful, yet we didn't realize it? Or maybe we just didn't really want to admit that we were addicted. I didn't find my way to quit until I was 49. Proud to quit with you today. Stranger999 2,039
