Hi today was my first day in 14 years that I haven't hade a chew. I really am losing my mind. I snapped at my kids and I can bearly remember to my name let alone the shit I have to do everyday. I really want to tell that ring in my pants to fuck off but I don't want to be a dick around my family. Any suggestions q

yes sir re! Sass. Start gathering contact #'s a list of people you feel good about contacting and raging at, We can all take it, weve been there or are there now. We are all a bunch of fricking addicts each one as crazy as another. Your family did't put that shit in your mouth for 14 yrs so why should they suffer from your detox and withdrawal. Until you get those #'s come here or in August quit and post your rage. And what ever you do dont hold back we all like a good blowout rage it makes us feel a little bit more normal; if that is possible.

Your 1st 4-5 days are going to be tough, that is normal. This is where you need to fight through this shit. After that the quit become more psychological, you just gotta refuse to cave. You will rage, you will be in the fog. Trust me this is normal. We call it the suck. Learn to embrace the suck, remember it you will not want to go through it again. If I can get through where your at now so can you. Stay quit, you owe it to yourself.

for everyone the roughest days can very, Mine were 6  7 Iv'e never been such a asshole!! OK, OK maybe a time or two but those two days were bad. This is a really good spot to rage, Its alot better than a Verizon store. I did both here and there! Fucker still makes me mad thinking about it. Oh yea and Bruce got it here, and he shoved it right back at me, Thanks again Bruce.
Point is read up on what to expect, have a plan that doesn't include being a ass to your family and friends. Come here and rant and rave, cuss and bitch about life, we'll shove it right back at you and show you how evil the bitch is.

Advice: Post roll everyday

The dip rage will go away, I still have co-workers talk about my dip rage around day 3-4, it happens.

Go to the Welcome Center (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showforum=13) and learn what we do (post roll) and how we do it (everyday).

Then head on over to August '12 and post up, that means in 100 days you'll reach the your HoF date in August. It's that simple man

When you find yourself in Hell, keep walking!

Welcome to hell. Don't stop because it hurts. Embrace the pain of this and stay quit. Keep focused and stay on task because it hurts!

There's no easy way, just suck it up. A week from now you're gonna be really proud of yourself.

Exercise. A tired body puts a soul at rest.

Just from my experience, I beat the shit out of myself during that initial period. Went as hard as I could. Thing is, it all feeds on itself. You exhaust yourself you'll sleep better. Better sleep, keeps you in a rational mind set. A rational mind set leads to wiser decisions, maintaining your temper and managing priorities.
