Title: 25 Days Quit
Post by: lastaddiction on March 15, 2015, 10:12:00 PM
I believe I posted roll correctly. Just found this site recently and really like what it has going. I'm just getting glimmers of light coming out of the fog but have a shitload of work to do. No chew today fellas.

A little about me: I'm on quite a journey of self improvement. Ten months ago I was one hot mess. I was a high functioning alcoholic. Work all through the week...party all weekend. Eventually that lifestyle does catch up with you. But at the center of everything was a nasty nicotine addiction. Right now, I haven't drank or smoked in 10 months...and I'm 25 days into this newest quit. Fuck it's been a nightmare. Nobody in my life understands what an immense life change this is for me. Fuck'em though. This isn't about their opinions or thoughts. This is about me wanting to be free of addiction so incredibly badly. Let's be selfish. This quit is for us. For our freedom. I fucking hate addiction.

To be clear, for the first time in 15 years or more, I am 100% drug free for 25 days now. That's awesome.

Good stuff Last. You'll find a good amount of support here if you post roll every day. I never could have made it 62 without KTC support. Keep up the good work man. Welcome, and quit on!

We've all been there. We get it.
You don't have to go it alone.
It gets a little better each day.
Stay close. You're well on your way.

Consider some healthy alternatives to fill the void. There are places here that can help with all that, too.

As others have mentioned make sure you utilize the resources available here. I've found the people here to be very helpful; all you have to do is reach out. Own this, stay on top of it, and we will all have your back. I'm proud to be quit with you and the rest of the people on this site.
