Hello all. Day 1. Long time Copenhagen user here... Cope for the last 10 years or so... started with Red man back in Middle school 30 years ago.... I can't believe it's been that long.. that I have kept returning to that stuff.
I'm really glad I've found KTC.
I am quitting. Not just stopping for now this time.
I ask for your help.

You can get help here for sure.
You are going to be with the July2016 quit group.
http://www.killthecan.org/heres-how-you ... court-now/ (http://www.killthecan.org/heres-how-you-quit-ball-is-in-your-court-now/)
that is a very helpful link to get you going down the right path.
But drink a lot of water and cranberry juice to flush that nic out of your system.
We post roll here everyday, no days off, weekends holidays, it's our promise not to use nic in any form.
I quit with you.

You are in good hands now. Read the link that ChickDip provided (Ball is in your court) and go to the other link (July 2016 Quit Group) and post your pledge to remain nicotine free for today. It's simple. You only have to promise to quit for one day. Anyone can do that. Then you come back and do it again tomorrow.

Way to post your day 1 Pogie. That's your promise. I also promise you.

Thanks fellas! It's Day 4 now... I've got the hang of posting roll in the morning... and the weekend wasn't so bad but I'll tell you a major trigger is sitting here at this stupid desk all day. So I'm just sitting here reading all I can on KTC.

Nothing wrong with that, bro. I was a freaking site junkie for well over a year.
It provides motivation and inspiration.
I say it all'a time because it's about as true as it gets... get involved and stay involved. You keep doing what you're doing.

Apple is dead on... Spend the same time quitting as you did chewing.
When you cant get it off your mind... Don't run from it.
Chase it down and knock its teeth out.
Text or call someone, get on chat.
They are there needing you just as much as you need them.
Nothing worse than being a slave to cope.
Nothing better than being free from it.

Welcome Pogie, you have some sage advice from these quitters above me. Quitting one day at a time is a way of life. It is an information and psychological battle. Every trigger must be met head on with a stronger sense of quit. You've made the decision, now just load up on weapons and win each battle. You have an army here that needs you as much as you need us.
