Hello,
I am glad to have found this site as it has been and will continue to be a useful resource. I chewed grizzly wintergreen for close to ten years. I finally decided enough was enough. No more hacking and coughing, anxiety, no more letting tobacco run my life. I really appreciate the reviews of various herbal snuffs. I bought some smokey mountain at Walmart this morning and that stuff is f-n awesome. Closest to grizz wintergreen I've found.

Welcome Matt! You made the right decision. Read the Welcome Center and post roll everyday. Posting roll is the backbone of KTC.

Hi Matt- i don't see you posting on roll yet for August 2014- that's your quit group. Check out the Welcome Center for instructions on how to post roll if you need that, and reach out for any other sort of help you might need. If you are ready to jump in with both feet here, you will be able to quit. If you need more, ask here or go to the Chat. Let's get this done!

Quitting is hard Matt. That's why not everyone is doing it. Be stronger than the weed! You can do this if you want it bad enough.

What's it gonna be dude? In order for this site to be a resource you need to post roll to play and then... make use of it.

Take a little tip from these guys. Yes quitting nicotine is one of the hardest things a human can do, Yes while here we ask that you give us your promise each and every day not to use any form of nicotine, and Yes we are all in this together whether we are male/female, old/young, a quitter of single digit/three or more digit days, as we all quit one day at a time.
So if you give that daily word, honor it, we all quit together, and use us as your support.
You can do this, but you have to be here.

Matt, you've had an account since March 8 dude, get yourself quit, post roll and take your life back. It's a few days of suck for a lifetime of freedom, I'm on day 39 and starting to hit some really awesome days, days that I haven't had in years. Quit with me brother, and I'll quit with you.

Hey, I joined back in March when I initially intended to quit. I made it 6 days then and caved during a very long day of work. Fortunately I now know how much effort the first few days take and I AM staying quit this time. I'm still foggy, pissed off, shakey, anxious. But I'm taking it one day at a time and I know it will get better. I also have the added bonus of my coworkers chewing around me all day. Anyone else share that pleasure? Anyway good night all. I posted tonight(think I did it correctly)

I was a lurker, I get it. But forreal - jump into this and don't look back. PM me if you need anything.
You did post roll - saw you when I was looking for everyone earlier. Stay in this and you will stay quit. Hit 100days free with us.
Coworker thing is common - if what you see on the site is not enough, then PM me and I'll help. the fake dips help with that, as you don't feel so out of place during the vulnerable times.
What was your quit day?

Matt, great choice to quit, and congrats on your first quit weekend! Myself and many others, before and since me, have found channeling all the quit rage where it belongs to be helpful. The soulless scumbags at big tobacco who use the most addictive thing known to man to rob us: they deserve the rage. The fact that they target kids to replace the "customers" their poison kills is worth the rage. The people you see day to day who are still slaves paying big tobacco money every day for poison that will kill them are to be pitied not to be envied... The craves and urges are easier to deal with when they piss you off. PM me if you need anything.
Also, There are a lots of dudes named Matt who kick nic in the crotch EDD! you got this if you want it
