Title: Intro 40 days & nights
Post by: Birdoggy on May 14, 2018, 02:18:00 PM
Just thought I would say hi and that I made it 40 days. Ive been looking at this website for sometime without posting. I'm an Okie in the oil and gas industry so it's fairly acceptable to dip all day long in the office. That Nic bitch is no joke and I've fought her almost every day. I dipped a can and 1/2 day with one in my mouth almost 9 hours or more each day. I love the outdoors so dipping came fairly natural, it began when I was 15 or 16 tube fishing. The best was dipping and fishing in a tube by myself without other adults around. That was about 25 years ago.

This is the hardest thing i've ever done.
The first 3 weeks maybe the worst of my life, then I saw some sunshine.
My bowel movements changed after quitting!!!!!! Was I stuck in the fucking Matrix for 20 years???
All my senses have changed for the better!! It really is unbelievable.

Nice to meet you

Nice job quitting for the 40 days Birdoggy, that is quite an accomplishment! You are damn right that quitting is one of the hardest things you will ever do. Join up with the July pre-HOF quit group and post roll everyday. That is your promise to the group that you will not use for that day. Everyone in your group has quit around the same time as you and are going through many of the same things as you; good, bad, and ugly. That will be an extra level of accountability and I guarantee it will make your quit even stronger. After being an addict for 25 years you need do everything you can to strengthen and protect your quit and joining the July group will do just that. Treat staying quit as important as anything else in your life. You have gotten through the worst of the physical addiction but there are plenty of mental hurdles in coming your way and KTC can help prepare you for them. You will never regret being quit. Welcome!

Welcome.

I agree, you are through the worst of it, but there are still bas days ahead. Your best defense is posting roll early every day. That promise has stopped my from caving many times.

Proud to quit with you.

Holy cow I gots fambly all up in that area. So is there anyone one the rig that DOESNT chew?
My heart goes out to you. 40 solo is the shizzle. But if you want to STAY quit jump in July with both feet and collect a few digits. You're more than welcome to mine, but I do hold people accountable for not posting roll (it's what sets us apart from Facebook, among other things).
Glad you're here. Stay quit. See you in July...
