So I hope I'm doing this right, but if not someone let me know. So anyhow today is day two of what I would consider to be one the toughest decisions I've ever made. Yesterday I decided to give up something that I myself and I'm sure everybody else on this site has once loved for at least a short time(me a lot longer than that) but I'm fed up and just like a disloyal girlfriend it was just that time to throw the bitch out! Id like to introduce myself and share a tiny bit about myself because after reading a lot of posts on here, that seems to be the best way to find the best methods of support for the mountain I plan to and will climb. My name is Mike and just like anyone else trying to quit dip I am addicted, horribly addicted and as the site says I'm not here by accident, I'm here because I've reached that point in my life where I need to turn things around and start looking forward and up instead of backwards. I started chewing when I was going into my sophomore yr of highschool my buddy and I were sharing a couple of his grandpas brews hiding out as young guys do and from out of his back pocket she arose, a tin of Kodiak Wintergreen, from that first face numbing, lip tingling, head buzzing pinch I was hooked especially after years of playing highschool and college hockey and know working as an electrician in the construction trade. But I'm done and that is why I'm here trying to find the extra push to stay the quit this time. I've made steps the past 5yrs chewing Grizz Pouches be cause my mouth was destroyed from long hours and nights on buses traveling around with nothing to do but chew with my hockey buddies. I started my day 1 yesterday and have made some changes already, I ordered up some Grinds coffee pouches which I've used before in conjunction with chew and they seemed to help and have recently started working out and changed up my diet in hope it will add some extra motivation to this trek ahead. My 30th birthday is in October and it sure would be nice to sit in my tree stand without a mouthful of chew. So sry for the long speech I'm just really hoping this works this time my girlfriend has a 6yr old boy that looks up to me as his only real male role model and as manly as chewing might be portrayed it's not something I want him trying to duplicate or idolize.

Looks like you have roll nailed. Good job but you have to do it daily. It's the simple price for admission. Rough road ahead so be ready. Lots of water will help flush the toxins away.
Just remember to use KTC as a tool in your quit belt. Chat, reading, making connections, etc are all part of what makes this work. I signed up 1,107 days ago and still post daily. Why? Because the nic bitch will pounce if I get complacent.
Also, try is not a word we use. We quit!!!!

Welcome Mav I'm guessing by the handle you played at Mankato? Lots of hockey guys here. I started dipping on a road trip. This is hard, but if you quit hard it is possible. PM me if you want to swap digits for support. Get on roll and stay on roll! Quit on

Great intro and well done getting on roll! Make and keep that same promise every damn day. Come back to this intro if you ever start to forget how you felt at the beginning. Connect with your group and others on this site. Finally, double your water, halve your caffeine and cease your alcohol for at least the next month.

I don't think he actually swapped digits with anybody in his group just me. He actually texted me back today and said he just got back from Mexico and is still quit and not done with KTC. I kindly explained that it was a BS excuse and to get his ass back in June explain his absence and prove he wants to fuckin' quit. ........................Radio silence since and nothing in June............so far I'm tired of expending energy and won't until he proves he wants this shit for real.
