I am going on the end of day 6 without dip. Today was a really tough day. My cravings were bad all day. I am a 22 year old college student wrapping up my last semester. I have been dipping on and off for about five years. I am set on this being the time I give up dip for good. When I start my full-time job in January, I want to start out on the right foot and start that new chapter of my life dip free. I am worried about this upcoming semester starting in about a week triggering me to start dipping again. School has always been the biggest trigger for my dipping as I feel like it helps me concentrate and reduces my stress. Any suggestions on how to overcome this trigger? I have been drinking tons of water, excercising like crazy, chewing gum and seeds. I will succeed this time in my mission to quit for good! Glad I joined this community and any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on your quit and hang in there. I'm on day 19 myself and it is tough but we'll make it. Just remember that your better and stronger than the dip. Don't let it control you.

One day at a time. You don't need nicotine for school or stress or anything else. The cravings will ease and peace will return. Albert Einstein didn't dip. Plato and Socrates didn't either. You don't need it to succeed. Your brain just thinks it does right now. It is healing - and this misery is part of that process.
Exercise more. Drink more water. Stay on this site a lot. You are winning.

Don't know what I would add to these two bad asses, so I'll just say welcome. Reach out to anybody on here, you will see what the brotherhood and accountability are all about.

In addition to the good advice, get hold of a bunch of fake dip. It will help you concentrate during the early quit months. It really helps--weird. Where I live Walmart carries Smokey Mountain.

I don't see you posting roll and making promises to us. I promise you that I won't have any of that shit today. Where is your promise to me and the rest of us?
