Title: dads can of kodiak
Post by: hoytjunky on August 27, 2013, 11:04:00 PM
Ive been hooked on dipping since I was 13, it was a way of life. you weren't a "country boy" if you didn't chew like your old man, so that what I did. I would take a can from my father every chance id get and share it with my buddys as we kept a collection of our dads chew. always telling each other " this isn't addicting, I could quit if I wanted to" but none of us did. here I am 5 years later spitting out my last pinch of chew because I want to. for my family, friends and most of all myself. this isn't my first time but it will be my last time to stay quit. so as of 8/28/2013 I will be tobacco free!

Great decision. Go read everything in the "welcome center," the pink button to the top left. It will explain how to post roll (your group will be December) There is much to be gained and learned by reading everything on this site and staying involved with it, but the foundation is posting roll each day with our promise to KTC, our quit group and ourselves that we will remain nicotine free for the day.
You can do that ... one day.
Then we repeat that the next day.
I am quit today too. I have been for 67 days now

Congrats  welcome Hoyt! Great guys on this site to talk to, so do PM away if you need some numbers or anything. I keep forgetting to tell people too, but there's some great  incredible stories posted in this forum from all the guys too, so keep posting  sharing yours as you work your way through it.

I see you posted roll yesterday, congrats on your "first day nicotine free." PM if I can give any support, first few days can be rough, but you're up for a challenge. Lean on your bros to help you it gets easier.

Hey Hoyt, one of the mods will fix it, but you should be posting to your original intro thread. That way you have a log of your quit, your thoughts, and reactions.
It helps to have it all in one place.

Happy you found an alternative that works for you, I went through a bunch, then made my own, then hit the seeds hard, and then..... the need went away. I still keep seeds around, and always have a bag in the car. I sure don't want to be craving and having to walk into the gas station.
You are winning. Quit with you today

This is awesome Hoyt. I still use the Smpkey Mountain from time to time. Especially when the craves are bad. Usually the seeds hit the spot. Clad you are hear. Drink the kool-aid and poste Every Damn Day. This is the plan that works. Get invovled and get numbers bub. Quit with you today! Quack! Quack!
