Post by: audie96 on February 21, 2012, 10:44:00 PM
Hello Everyone!

I am not completely new to the web site, but am new at actually taking my addiction seriously. I am a woman and found another woman on this site who has been helping me tremendousely!!! I am on day 3 with no cope and even though it has been hard, I am willing to do what ever it takes to stay stopped. I know that 3 days probably sounds loke nothing, but for me, it is a miracle! I have dipped everyday for the last 12-13 years, so I am grateful to have day 3!! I am happy to be here and appreciate any words of wisdom yall may have!!

I'm finishing up day 3 myself today.
I used to smoke more than I chewed. I feel like a broken record (or someone pushing for this company) but ive been using mint snuff from oregon mint snuff company. A lot of guys like smokey mountain. A lot of people reccomend gum, fireballs or sunflower seeds.

What are you using for the oral fixation or are you just toughing it?
Really curious, as this is what helps keep us all strong by sharing what works for us.

Post roll, I'll be looking for your name tomorrow morning on the roll call.

Welcome back!

I'll assume you never posted with another group, so I would suggest reading everything in the welcome center tab, if you haven't. I'm in the may group, so don't hesitate to pm me if you have any questions or need help.

Day 3 is tough, so hang in there! Make sure you'll never have to go through another day 3 ever!

I tell all Day 3'ers what I tell everyone else...stay strong and stay quit. (Prolific, huh?)

Just kidding - Day 3 is huge. You still have triggers all over. You're still in the fog. But embrace it...it is the feeling that you are healing. Just think, there are tons of folks who lost their battle to cancer who would do anything for one more day, I'm guessing.
