Welcome Bugs! You are in for one hell of a ride. Read all you can, post roll early everyday, reach out and get some numbers and contacts to call when you think you can't take anymore. Many many of us wish we had told the bitch to take a hike after 5 years, rather than sucking on her poisonous tit for 15, 20, 40 more years. I'm here if you need anything, pm me. I'm more than willing to trade #'s just let me know. The brotherhood in quitting really makes a difference.

Welcome to KTC brother. Congratulation's on making the best decision you ever couldand kicking the can to the curb. I quit with you today. If you need anything at all just pm me.

Welcome. Get your head in the game and let's do this thing. You never have to suffer the fog again. Just stay quit. Get your contacts together and formulate a plan to put in play when the craves hit. Cause belive me, they will. This gets a little easier every day.
Never again.... for any reason.

Thanks everyone for the much needed support!!

Good to have you aboard. If you've hit the 3 day mark, the good news is the that the nic is gone from you're system after 3 days. Then comes the suck - dealing with your head telling you it's not thru with dip. The good news is you have hundreds of great people here who have been thru the same and will help you. Just stay strong and you can conquer this.

My morning 5... When I first began reading through the symptoms I would experience... Im like insomnia yeah right! Well... my sleep patterns are all fucked up, not quite insomnia but waking up every two hours seems pretty damn close. I'm happy this is only temporary... I just have to remember to keep my irritability in check... and not drive 90mph up everyone's ass on the freeway. That's why i am posting here to vent. BUT most of all im still QUIT!!! haha bitch 'Finger'

It takes time to get over that. Avoid confrontation when you can. I'm a generally low-key guy, but there were times early in my quit that I really struggled not to beat somebody's ass for something simple like being rude or being less than courteous in traffic. Be ready for it, and you'll have the upper hand to laugh it off.

This is the best place to vent. We have been there or are there with you. Bring the heat here not at family or friends. 'bang head' Sleep will return to normal in a few days. You can try some Nyquil sleep medicine too to see if that helps. Excercise helped me sleep better.

NyQuil? Damn in wish I had thought of that when I was in my earlier stages. That's a great idea. Sleped maybe an hour per night for 28 days

The sleep pattern will improve. However, even after 3+ years of being quit, I still find my sleep pattern getting disturbed and still having dip dreams. There's probably been at least a dozen times where I woke thinking I had caved. I guess my body is still trying to unprogram its self.
