Well, here I am looking through this website almost watching a forecast of what my life will be like if I keep chewing. I started chewing a year and a half ago. as of yesterday I am two weeks into my quit. Yesterday I also had the worst nic fit thus far. Only thing that stopped from going down and getting a can was finding this website and realizing that I am not alone here. I am at the point where I no longer have the fog and I'm not as snappy or easily upset, but I am having massive Craivings.

Congrats on 2 weeks Bobby. Dont quit alone, join up with your quit group in July 2017 and start posting roll.
Make the promise to your group that you will not use nicotine in any form and then keep your promise.
Keep on quitting!

So there was a reason you found us... and congratulations for making it this far - 14 days is no small feat!
This is your group - July quitters (http://forum.killthecan.org/topic/30190862/196/#new) === Here you will post roll, which is your promise in the morning, EVERY DAY, that you will not use nicotine. You will also forge friendships with people going through their quit at the same time as you.
There is no luck, you make your own decision when quitting that crap. So I will not say good luck, only -
I quit with you today.

yes, join your group, this is how it's done....I could never do it alone, after 30 years of various half-assed attempts to quit. But I claimed my freedom at KTC. You can, too.

Posting roll on a daily basis and promising not to use for the next 24 hours is easy. Join up with July 17 and join a group of bad ass quitters. Welcome to the rest of your life and great job doing it on your own for 2 weeks. Stick around and make that longer.

JMcay is damn right...it's getting better!!! Never fail to take note of your success. TWO WEEKS...that is awesome!!! Congrats to both of you and your whole Quit Group. Your commitment to being quit today fires me up. Recognize your success. Shout it loud in your quit group. Yall are doing bad ass stuff here. You're saving lives.
It's easy to get lost in monotony. I used to stop for a while, then get defeated at the thought of "quitting forever." I would basically call bullshit on myself and cave. But that is because I didn't understand what I was doing. Quitting forever is hard. That's why nobody is quitting forever here. All we're doing is quitting ONE DAY AT A TIME.
What's done is done. Nobody can change the past...so fuck it. Nobody knows what the future holds...so fuck that too. All you can control is TODAY. And we've given our word that we won't have anything to do with nicotine today. I can guaran-fucking-tee you I'll keep my word...today. So that is another win.
ONE DAY AT A TIME. Embrace the suck. It is the feeling of freedom!!!
