I hate myself these days because of my addiction. I hate that I have to put that crap in my mouth to make me "feel" normal and confident. How did I let this happen for so long? 27 yrs. "ninja dipper" (just learned that term on this site).
I'm fucking done. I'm so pissed off right now and I don't know why. I know its not going to be easy...Threw out the tin and just waiting for the pain. Tried in the past, but always had a reason to just have "one more tin"
Bring it on bitch, I'm gonna win this time. Fuck you and I hate you Skoal Straight..

I love the emotion anger. It is such a powerful motivator tool if harnessed correctly. Direct it towards the enemy which is tobacco. Let it get you through the cravings and difficult times ahead. Do NOT hate yourself for your past actions. It is counterproductive and a waste of energy. You can do nothing about yesterday, you can only change today. Save your angst disgust for the future. Just win the day and soon you will start to feel normal without that nasty chemical that had us all on this site in her clutches at one time or another. Hate on my man.

You are in the right spot now. the aforementioned handling of the anger is spot on. Now, you say waiting for the pain. Make the pain more manageable by drinking lots of water. There is no set time limit on The Suck. Only some guidelines at best. Day 3 tends to be the biggest one. Severe headaches, massive fogginess, almost dizzy. Lots of water and some fruit juice. Dive into the site and feel free to ask questions.
We quit daily here. One day at a time. Sometimes one second at a time.
