Hey guys, doctor suggested finding a support group, forum type thing and mentioned this one.
Been chewing for 15 years now, bout 2 cans a day for sometime now. Been struggling with severe social anxiety and bi-polar for ever and finally been having things get better this past year now that I'm actually managing my problems, and I decided it's time to get rid of this other huge problem in my life.
I've always used chew when I'm anxious and I know its going to be a huge hurdle for me in my quiting process as the anxiety is still very present.
Anyhow, only at 4 hours or so now, but I'll keep posting each day and hopefully just talking about what's going on will help.
Wish me luck brothers.

I wish you "luck" but it's going to take a stronger stance than that. I'm not yet qualified to teach, but I do know you are either quit or your not. NO LUCK involved. However, I support you to the max and will hold you accountable if you will do that for me ..

then welcome to KTC and the Flying Fuckers of FEB 14. your next assignment is to post roll every day when you wake up and promise all of us you will not consume nicotine in any form. Go to the welcome center and read. you will be in the February 2014 club. Look it up under quit groups. Send via private message some of us your phone, we will do the same. We will support one another or we will fail. Failure is not acceptable.
PS. George Hayduke, what did I tell you about sunday nights.?????

Ah, do I ever relate! Read my intro and HOF speech. I've suffered depression, anxiety and extreme social anxiety for most of my life starting in my early teens back in the early 1970's. I used nicotine to cope (or so I thought) actually it made it worse. My mental health issues didn't leave but for the most part they improved. I still have a shit load of issues but nicotine use isn't one of them.
The first thing you need to do is go to the February 2014 pre HOF group and post roll. After that read all you can and learn what to expect. Also for a point of information check out the wildcard forum on depression and anxiety, were not alone.
