Hey all,
I posted roll call without introducing myself. My username BirdDog was the first thing that came to mind when I registered. Mostly because my new GSP pup is always staring at me while IÂ’m on the computer at home. I am an avid outdoorsmanÂ… I fish part of the year and hunt the other part. Used to do it all with a mouth full of the Bear or Skoal Straight. Dip free fishing will be some adjustment.

I'm in Illinois. I will hunt and fish anywhere and like to go on trips. But I hunt pheasant anywhere in Northern, and Central IL. I hunt deer in IL just over the border from KY.

Any Illinois sportsmen on the thread?

Hey Birddog, ho wold is your GSP? I have one that is 16 months old. He is constant energy, can't wait to get back out in the feilds with him this fall.

Hey TR! Thats awesome. Hows the training going? Should be a good year! Yes they do have a lot of energy don't they.

I've only got one dog now. A 10 month old female puppy. She's pretty birdy and would rather be in the field than anywhere else. I've been training her since I had her fixed. She's doing well. She's got a hard nose. I'm just working on making sure she has a soft mouth.

You ever make it to IL and want to go for pheasant you need to look me up.

Hello everyone. I'm one of Bird Dogs' good friends. He has inspired me to quit too. Today I'm on day number 8 chew free...cold turkey style.

I think this web site is a great resource!

Just like BirdDog, I'm an avid outdoorsman who likes to fish and hunt. I'm in SW Michigan.
