I'm 30, had my first dip at 15 and used about a can a day since age 16. Last few years, if I wasn't eating, I was chewing. I've tried quitting more times than I can count. Simply put, I'm addicted to nicotine. This morning I decided I AM DONE. I picked up a couple cans of this Smokey Mountain herbal (tobacco-free) snuff to help with any oral fixation, but I can already feel my body wanting nicotine, 'bang head' BADLY. The way I see it, lesser men have done greater things. This time I will quit successfully, period.

Welcome! Admitting that you are addicted is probably the most important step. Everyone here is an addict. We quit here together, one day at a time, every damn day. I was a slave to nicotine for 35 years and I have been free from it since Labor Day weekend. Posting roll here every day keeps me on the quit path. Post roll in May 16 and use the support here. B)B

Congrats on the quit. Quitting after 15 years is going to be hard, but we got your back. Get mad at the guys here, we can take it, we've been then and still are addicted to it. Exchange some digits with your group, it will help later on down the road.
I quit with you today

I don't know Mr. Hoffman,
You've got one post in four days but you were here yesterday. THAT's what lesser men do.
When you're ready, we'll still be here.
You can go from stopping for a bit to quitting for good with one promise at a time.
Get in there! Let's GO!
