Hello. Today is Day 6 for me. Smokeless tobacco has been a constant part of my life for 30 years, starting from age 12 or 13. I can't say now at what point I began to regret the first time I tried it, but it was a long time ago. I've tried to quit a few times before, probably the closest I came was 2 years ago. Up until the last few days, I've never spent very much time on this site, let alone using all the resources and support on it to my advantage. I definitely plan to do that this time around as well as doing my best to support others. I guess someone may ask what is different this time that is going to make me successful this time around. I'm not sure I can come up with a good answer for that. All I can say is in my heart it feels different this time. On Day 3 when I was standing outside my truck pumping gas and staring into the gas station and thinking about walking in there and caving, I knew in my heart it wasn't going to happen...and it didn't. It never will.

38 year addict here, own this quit, it's yours! It's time to take your life back. It will blow your mind , if you stick to this wonderful life of quit you will be seeing shit happening for the first time and realize it was always there it's just the nic was the most important thing in your life! 441 days later I've never felt better! Took me awhile to figure out what a normal life was, but it is awesome. Post early, every damn day and you will not fail! I quit with you today! Quit on!

Listen to this ^^^ guy. He is a bad ass quitter and he knows what he is talking about. :)
I danced with the nic bitch for about 35 years myself. 6 days quit by yourself is awesome. I was at day 6 too when I joined this great site. The key to staying quit is to make yourself accountable. That means swapping digits with other quitters and getting yourself on roll every day. Make sure that you can text or call someone if you ever get into a bad situation.

I really appreciate all the support on here. I hope I can do the same for others. Seeing posts from folks that are on day 400+, even 1000+, is very inspirational. I will get there. Like I was saying in my intro, this time around I know it in my heart. IMO that's the difference and that's the key, because then you can't lose. I've made it over a week and like anyone else my addiction has been playing games with my mind. That doesn't matter though. It can't trick my heart, and it says I'VE PUT THAT SHIT DOWN FOR THE LAST TIME!!!

This is not a show up when you feel like it system. You come and post roll every damn day. That's how this works. That's what's been proven to keep people quit.
You obviously came here because doing it your way has never worked previously. So start doing it our way. It works.

Like Monster said, listen to him. An addict's worse defense is thinking the rules do not apply to them. Get on board and put some skin in the game.
