My days almost done, but I'm not reaching for a can. This will be a week of avoiding doing so. I've gone weeks, or even a month in the past, but that was never on purpose. Never the goal, just always a by product. This time 8 years ends now. I've been taking care of my teeth much more than i had in the past, flossing, brushing morning and night when in the past id be lax about it. But this time when I leave I'm not popping through the gas station, or planning my route around it. I'm heading home. And I've read a lot about the process here so it looks like if others can kick the habit, so can I.

The reason this is hard... so damn hard... is because itÂ’s an addiction. Habits are nothing to break because they have no real hold on you. Addiction?... Yeah, thatÂ’s a different animal.
Mindset is important and this particular admission will lend perspective to the whole process.
ItÂ’s time to be free.
Get involved and stay involved... it works.

Day1, 10, or 1,000! Post roll one day at a time and you will be successful in your quit. You need all the tools available here on Ktc. Post roll, get numbers in your group or out. Grab onto someone that you can hold accountable as well as them holding you accountable. You will learn that the only reason you could be alone is by your own choice, because here on Ktc weÂ’re all in this together. From day 1 to day 5,000 you will find help as long as you reach out. This my friend is no habit itÂ’s an addiction. It took me a long time to admit it but when I finally did I started understanding more of why I could never do this by myself. LetÂ’s do this together but just ODAAT! Quit on

That is a huge distinction that I know I should make. Discounting it in the past has made it easier to slip but now I'm committed with a purpose. KTC is gonna be part of the morning routine in my plan.

if anyone reading this is avoiding the dentist, stop. Pick up the phone now and call. I just got out of the chair and my mouth is sore as hell from lazers and picking and prodding. But it will get better they said, and they were glad I came in when I did. It had been probably 3 years and man did i have some build up. When poking for pockets it felt like my heart would skip waiting for the numbers. No bone loss or anything but I'm glad I quit now because both 4s made my heart drop. Was told that the build up was reversable for now, and gums will be as they are. but get it looked at and regularly, because the more you wait the more junk that will build up on your teeth and the worse its gonna feel.
