Title: fuckin horrible
Post by: jimbohannon on November 19, 2008, 01:05:00 PM
my buddy and I decided to kind of quit together, and he introduced me to this site. It is good to have other people to quit with, because it is the worst. I started chewing when I got into firefighting. Started with Levi and Beechnut, then Copenhagen longcut for about 3 or 4 years. I know thats nowhere near what some other people may have been dipping. But the grip it has on me is extremely powerful, I cant go an hour without wanting one and then feeling like breaking something in half cause I dont. Today, 11/19/08, is day 9 with no nic. It has been hard to give up the Copenhagen, it has been an essential part of my life, almost a statment of who I was, it was my trademark amongst my group of friends, and a staple as important as food, water or air during my summers. I think thats what really did me in, Cope was the only bit of goodness in my life on many days during the summer. But Im here now, day 9, stayin quit mother fuckers.

I like your attitude! The Nic-Bitch owned many of us for years, but not anymore man. Breaking away from this addiction is hard at times man, especially in the beginning. Hang in there man, because things do get better. If you need anything let me know.
