Welcome to the fun, Gregory! I saw you just posted a Day 1 in April. Congratulations.
As you probably know, the next few days are going to suck. All of us have gone through this as we deal with the withdrawal of nicotine from our system. It's difficult but, if we could do it, so can you.
Posting Day 1 means that you made a promise to not use nicotine in any form today. Destroy every stash of the stuff you have and stay as far away from the crap as you can.
Read everything you can on the KillTheCan.org page (linked above). Information is power when it comes to quitting.
Here's a link regarding craving that you may find useful: index.php?showtopic=5098 (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showtopic=5098)
Contact me ASAP, if you need anything . . . . .
The most important thing to remember is that you can do this! It takes guts, but it is worth every ounce of fight!!

Ive found good music helps me and bubble gum. I cant drink cause that just makes me want to chew even more, another thing that has helped with stress before is airsoft and i know it will help me even more now!

I still chew gum from time to time whenever I am doing an activity that I always used to do while using nicotine. I would rather buy gum than a can of cancer. I would also STRONGLY advise you to take a break from alcohol. It will lead down a path to bad decisions. Staying quit should be your number one priority. Let us know how you are doing. We are here to help.
