Today is my fourth day, so far so good. I have been chewing since 2002. I started under peer pressure at my work place, I have tried quiting before but not because I wanted to. This time around I want to quit for me, it no longer has any effect and I want to make sure I stay as healthy as I can.
Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself:

hunt 2971 and Josh, this is the best web site for quitting chewing. You will go through some nicotine withdrawal symptoms, but they get better as time goes on. I chewed for 37 years and quit multiple times before I found this site. Get yourself some gum, sunflower seeds, and fake chew like smokey mountain to get you through your cravings. Mine lasted for 15 - 25 minutes and the minor suffering was worth it. Keep it up and stay in touch.

Good job Josh!!
You're doing the right thing. There isn't one fucking thing that's good about this addiction. And don't you ever forget that you are an addict. Just like a crack whore. Never think that you can have "just one" because you can handle it.
You can't !!!!!
Post roll every day. It's the bread and butter of your Quit.
Read as much as you can on this site.....absorb like a sponge.
PM me if I can be of any assistance.
