You can get help here for sure.

You are going to be with the July2016 quit group.

http://www.killthecan.org/heres-how-you ... court-now/ (http://www.killthecan.org/heres-how-you-quit-ball-is-in-your-court-now/)

that is a very helpful link to get you going down the right path.

But drink a lot of water and cranberry juice to flush that nic out of your system.
We post roll here everyday, no days off, weekends holidays, it's our promise not to use nic in any form.

I quit with you.

Good move! Those nicotine tapers just extent the suck (the physical "where the hell is my nicotine" response) for the length of the tapers instead of the 72 hours for nicotine to wash out of your system.

Hang on, read the site, you found chat, it will get better!

Congrats on the best decision of your life! I am part of June Platoon, but that doesn't mean I wont help you out. Need anything, reach out to me or your fellow quitters. Drink plenty of water then drink more water like Irish said. Huzzah quitter!

Congrats brother on the quit.
Many time we have tried to quit and failed, this site is a very useful tool/resource if you let it be.
I know I would have already returned to the Bitch if it had not been from the help of the BROTHERHOOD.
Hang in there it's gonna be a wild ride, but you can do it

I quit with you today.

I patched for 30 days before I grew a set and ripped it off, so good on you for trashing the gum. Stay strong and soon it will be just a memory.

So i was on this website almost a year ago and couldn't believe how great of a community this is. I have struggled endlessly to quit. I leaned back on nicotine lozenges and such throughout the last few months but always went back to the can. Tomorrow will be my day 1. I am getting used to the website again but if anyone can point me in the right direction of where to start with my "group", i would greatly appreciate it. I am dead set on quitting without any substitutions and not gonna lie, pretty damn scared of withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Thanks again!

Welcome back. May 2018 are your new best friends. Are you serious this time? DoesnÂ’t appear you made it past a day one in March of 2016. This is about quitting. You will not chew anymore ... one minute at a time if need be. Lots of support and wisdom here but if YOU donÂ’t support your decision and take it as a responsibility, you will FAIL. Reach out to the good folks here and we will be there. Read up, drink a lot of water, exercise, lay off any booze, and find some seeds or fake. White knuckle time sucker. YouÂ’ll live. Get some...

i am definitely serious. Last time i thought i could do it myself with nicotine on my own but it just didn't work and i now i understand why. I was dealing with a lot of personal issues but I've now made time without outside anxieties to make it a priority and i hope to god it works. Thank you!

Incorrect. Post roll in May 18 as soon as it rolls to the next day and you are awake. Make your promise to not chew and keep your word. ThatÂ’s all this place asks. DonÂ’t report at the end of the day your success. Get a number or two to check up on you and demand they hold you accountable. If you donÂ’t have any from your group, PM me and IÂ’ll send you mine if you need text support through the day in the early stages. If itÂ’s after midnight where you are and you havenÂ’t dipped today this far .. Post. If you have dipped, flush that shit and post. Repeat daily. Breathe brother ... you will do fine if you are a man of your word.

Walmart has Smoky Mountain in multiple flavors. IÂ’m certain thatÂ’s one of them. It works when youÂ’re struggling bud. Flush the real stuff post roll and letÂ’s do this!

Smokey mountain isn't bad and its pretty cheap. Grind's serves a purpose, but doesn't feel much like dip because its in the pouches.

You got this shit man. Come on. Get a group and make a promise. Get some accountability. Sending a PM with my digits in them if you can post roll and you can at least text me, you can stay quit. We've all been through the shit. Theres a clearing on the other side, I'm only a month in right now and I'm already feeling 10x better about life on most days.

It's gonna suck, but grab some fake shit, if you cant get fake shit in time for the cravings tonight, throw some fucking jerky in your lip.

Don't quit tomorrow, quit right the fuck now, go dump your tin down the toilet take a piss on it and flip it off as it swirls away from you. Shit is done controlling your life.

Day 3 was roughest for me as far as cravings go. Distract yourself as much as possible. I started doing intense amounts of yardwork as a rage project. Also im a big fan of the Shock your body technique. Can't think about dip if your so cold you can't breathe.

yeah im in the process of getting off some medication i was on for a couple years as well so its gotta be a real nasty bitch overall. Luckily, I took some time off work to get 100 percent clean off errythang. I've been training in the gym until I can't breath or walk which is great for endorphins so that and this forum will be my foundation hopefully. And thanks bro, appreciate the advice.

Wake, piss, post, repeat. Once your word is given, nicotine is off the table for the day. Anyone can do anything for 24 hours. That is all we ask.

So I haven't been sleeping so Ill wake up early off no sleep post roll then go back to bed. Does it matter when I post roll if its within the day period? Because Ive been sleeping in like crazy. I slept today til like 3:00 oclock but happened to be up way earlier so i just posted for the day at like 430 am...

Hello, i am on Day 42 of no nicotine. I have been reading this sites posts everyday to help my anger at not being able to take a dip. This is my first time using this site as a member though. So im a little confused on how to post roll.

Whenever you post, that is your word for that day. Sleep patterns will return to your normal cycle in time. It's part of the process. If you take the time to read through some of the intros, you will see all sorts of mindfucks in the early stages of many a quitter.

There were days when I couldnÂ’t even get out of bed. The nicotine you were ingesting all day long is now gone. Your brain (and body) is desperately looking for it. Tobacco is engineered to work this way by design. Great job posting day 3 today! ItÂ’s good to be quit with you.

You need to throw out everything now!!  Addicts always quit tomorrow.  Hope is not a strategy.

Cold Turkey is how we roll here.

Flush it all now, and go post your name, day 1, and promise to never use nicotine in any form for the next 24 hours.

You will be in the June 2021 Quit Group.

You know the drill.

Next week??? Bullshit. It's always easy to say we will quit tomorrow or some date in the future. That's the addict in us delaying what actually needs to happen which is that we need to quit right now. TODAY.

Stop making excuses. Starting up again because of COVID is a lame excuse. I've been working from home staring at a computer since last March. I didn't go back to nicotine.

Like Jeff said, you know the drill. Flush everything you have that contains nicotine and post that Day 1 right now, tonight. Who knows, maybe that extra week you planned to give yourself might be what actually gives you cancer. Choice is yours.

Finally, there is no hoping around here. Hope in one hand and shit in the other and see which fills up first. You have to make this happen. So what's it going to be?

Also, @adevster8 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=127) I found two other intros which I merged with your most recent one. Each quitter is allowed only one introduction so please use this combined intro going forward.

The title of your second intro contained some variation of "QUITTING DAY 1 - tomorrow". Gee, deja vu, eh?

Read the history here man. Insanity is defined by doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. What are you going to do to make this time stick? Your track record doesn't bode well.....

As the saying goes: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

So many people have grand intentions of quitting but never act on it. Quitting tomorrow is like living in a fantasy land. Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Which tomorrow is going to be your TODAY??
