Title: Active duty Marine, DAy 1
Post by: ChrisS on September 22, 2014, 01:32:00 PM
Hello all,

This is my day 1. I have been an active duty Marine for the last 21 years, and have been dipping literally everything under the sun (after copenhagen got so damn expensive) for around 25 years. Most recently it was wintergreen pouches due to the professional nature my job has taken. Which just upped my amount. (can plus a day) and had me start swallowing dip spit rather than spitting it out. I have been married for 15 years, and I have two children. I am quitting for all of us. Yes, me first, but also for them. Or more importantly, so I can be around for them.

Appreciate the help and support in advance.

Chris

Semper Fi brother. You're in the right place. You also nailed your first Roll Post. You're here, you posted your promise, so no nicotine for today.

We'll worry about tomorrow when it comes.

Let me know what I can do, hard charger.

PS - Thanks for taking the torch. There are a ton of us leathernuts here.

Appreciate it.

Yep. No dip today, and worry about today only. Check. I have never done any other form of tobacco, so no substitution worries here.

Glad I found this spot. Semper Fi.

Just to be clear, no nicotine either. No nic pills, no nic gum, no nic lozenges, no licking a cigar and certainly none of that snus NOLAQ used to pack in like a suppository.

Welcome. Yell if you have any questions.

Chris, this ^^^ is Gmann. He is very open about how much he likes anal play and is attracted to Marines. He won't leave us alone. Don't get in his van, or take a shower with him.

Very familiar with Navy personnel, having lived aboard a ship for a number of years during my career, and I will skip the anal play for now... haha

As a non-leathernut, I will simply say welcome, and this is the best decision you will ever make for you. Just keep after it. Post roll every damn day. Get digits from as many of us as you can. Pile up those days like cordwood, and it will get easier - bit by bit.

You know you've made the right choice, and you're in excellent company, so let's do this.

Chris, congrats on your quit. I saw some of your posts and encouragement for other quitters in your group....that is awesome, so I wanted to give some support back your way. You will never have another 9 day stretch harder than the last 9 days. Doesn't mean it isn't going to be easy...just not as hard. Keep grinding, I quit with you today. And not to sound like a phoney American who sits back home and offers shitbird thank yous. But I'm in awe of what you and the rest of the servicemn and women on this site, endure on a daily basis. Safe travels to you amigo.
