Early morning you rise, reach for that can you know all so well. When your my age you'll be glad you woke up and watch her for signs of life. As far as that morning pinch, I always had to remove what was left of that last dip of the day that I put in before falling asleep. I still wake with dreadful morning breath but at least I don't have crusted dip on the side of my face and pillow.

Welcome 2finger, great choice to be quit! Fair warning, your quit will remain difficult and tenuous if you continue to believe that carcinogenic wad of chemicals infused in a weed provided you with anything useful or enjoyable. Any "enjoyment" simply came from supressing the withdrawal symptoms every time you packed in another fatty. Read everything you can on this site, it is full of useful info to help you learn about your addiction and help you stop romanticizing it. Glad you are here, definitely quit hard every day!

That may be true, and it may explain your VERY intermittant roll posting, but you still have not answered the three questions. You dodged them in your intro thread. I may not agree with the ensuing name calling and I can understand a defensive reaction, but the bottom line is you need to answer those questions to belong in our quit group.

In response to your massive posting gaps, I don't see one post stating "I'm not going to be able to post frequently because of work". The only thing close to it is one roll call shortly after your return telling people you were on a rig and to fuck off.
The people calling you out are not in the wrong in this situation. To be accepted in this house you have to follow the rules. Accept the repercussions instead of antagonizing those who want answers. You deserve backlash, every one of us has struggles and you gave in. This will not go away.

I have seen this so many times. Someone caves, gets shit on for caving....then does one of two things...
1. Falls on his sword, gives his three reasons then comes back harder and stronger (the majority of the big time posters on this site have caved at one point in their quit, check their threads if you don't believe me)
2. Tells everyone to fuck off then fades away. Blaming everyone else for making them leave the site. This happens way more often. I call this the cowards way out.
Which way are you going to fall?

Mixed emotions reading this thread. I typically mind my own business in these situations because I'm not a big fan of confrontation or drama. I'm not looking to stir up a big pile a shit here either but I tend to fall towards giving TFD some room and leverage here. I don't think he's full of shit. I think he needs some friends right now.
He's taken the ass kicking for caving; granted, it hasn't been as graceful or humble as it could have been but I suppose it's pretty easy to get defensive when you're reading words on the internet....there's no emotion or inflection; sometimes we read things the wrong way lose our shit. I'm not happy that he's no longer a March Ironman. I would hope that's the most disappointing thing to him as well, because our group is fucking awesome. Our group has dropped from 100+ to 22 now as March closes in on the 2nd floor..... it sucks but it's a part of addiction.
I don't know the whole story here, but I do know that if I was working so far out in BFE that I didn't have the internet or cell service, I'd have a really hard time staying quit, especially if I felt like the rest of my life was spiraling into the shitter at the same time. I'm not condoning the cave.
Hell, I'm trying not to ramble and thread jack but the bottom line, TFD, is stay fucking quit.
I'm pretty sure you've got my digits and you've got others in March too. Reach out. Some might tell you to pound sand, but I won't. As long as you promise me that you'll sooner go stick your dick in a pmsing polar bear than stick a dip in your lip, we're good.
It's not the KTC way, but if it's the best you can do, then it's the fucking best you can do. The objective here is to quit dipping and to stay quit.
