Hey everybody,
Wanted to take a sec and introduce myself...
As of this writing, I'm not even 12 full hours into my quit... and I'm already feeling A LOT different.
I take comfort in the fact that everybody else on here is either going through the same thing I am... or has in the fairly recent past.
Tried quitting like 3 or 4 times this year already. All by myself, no support system. Yeah, it didn't last --- and I finally got SOOO pissed at myself that I came HERE for the support I needed.
I know it's gonna be a long, tough road... but I"m here to stay.
**Yes, I already found out about posting roll and everything (to prevent all the vets of this site from telling me to do that :) )
It's simple as hell, and I know that making myself do that every day will help keep me focused.

While you're here, read, read, read, read, read, read....and then read some more. This site works because we make a promise EVERY day and we KEEP it. We don't take a lot of excuses as to why you can't post. You can always find a way to post roll. If you need a phone number PM me and you have mine.

Don't worry about the Vets, Time. Worry about me. We quit Friday together. You know how to post roll, so do it. This sucks, I get it. I've tried to quit on my own so many times, just like you. Its different this time. Its different when others depend on you, when others show you it can be done and put their faith in you. You can let yourself down all day long, but it changes when you let someone else down. Don't let me down, Time. Post Roll.

FHY is right ... to some extent. He's your HOF brother, so you do need to worry about him. But both of you need to "worry" about the vets, too. They've "been there, done that," and have more advice for you than you could ever imagine. Don't try being a cowboy and doing it on your own...just like cattle drives, it takes a team to get the herd to the final destination.
Those of us that have come before you WILL put faith in you and invest time and energy in helping you in your quit, because WE received it and want to see you succeed. But F it up and we will do what is neccessary in order to try and set you back on the right path...hang in there, keep reading everything you can. Be active in this quit. FHY, keep supportin your brothers.
