Today is the first day of my last quit. I have tried at least 5 or more times over the past 16 years to quit, but have always gone back to it. I know this one will stick and I will never need the dip again.

Day 3 - Doing well, cravings are okay and managable. Chat online helps distract me from thinking about the dip. Reading and keeping the consequences on the forefront of the brain really helps curb the crave. I can do this, I have to do this.

That's right you can do this. You have done it. You have quit. You don't do that shit anymore. You put your word down today? You say you were quit to the rest of the folks in June 2012?

Day 4 - Didn't sleep well last night, kept waking up every couple of hours. Got up early for the first time since I can't remember when, got ready, went to work, posted roll and feeling okay. Headache is working on my nerves pretty bad, but nothing I can't handle. I am quit.

Day 7 and doing well. This first weekend was challenging but I got through it without much trouble. I believe the key is staying busy and to keep your mind on other stuff. Right now, I am just celebrating the first week of freedom.
No nic, no fit, no crave no cave, I am quit today!

Day 8 - I actually got some sleep last night and I feel better than I have in years. Still have the cravings but not as hard to ignore now. Just remnants of the physical habbit trying to break through. Victory is attainable and freedom is already here.

I have freedom from stopping at a CS every day. Every freaking day, baby, I drive on by.

Alright, haven't done this in awhile, but now I am day 30. Feeling good, have a regular sleep schedule again. Embracing my quit and trying to be supportive of those around me. My only regret.....not doing this sooner.

Hey bro - I'm just glad you are here and proud to be quit with ya. I have started to post a lot more since the late 20's/early 30's - feeling a lot more invested in this quit. Typing is helping - gets shit off the chest. Great job - stay strong - if you ever need a thing call or text me brother. Glad to be quit with you!!!
PS - I don't have cinemax but I do think my wife is checking the history on our computer. I spend more time on it (on KTC) then ever before in my life. Ha - guess she thinks I'm a porn addict now. Oh well.

Long time since I posted here, but I feel that I needed to share. It's been 5 days since I hit HOF and it felt great. What I also felt was craves. For some reason day 101 felt like day1. Some of the vets told me that I would experience some craves, but they were intense. I also have been craving for the past few days. Then the worst was having a dip dream last night.
I hate dip dreams. Mainly because of the guilt you have waking up. You wake up sweating and feel the guilt of having caved. Then you think, "shit, now I have to tell my quit brothers". It really take a few minutes to realize it wasn't real.
All that to say, always protect your quit. Stay focused on your goal and when you've reached it start another. 100 days doesn't mean you're done, it just means you've started well. My plan is to finish well.

Giving in means that she'll start leaving her pantyhose all over your bathroom again. Giving in means that you'll start missing money out of your wallet in the mornings. Giving in means that she'll kill you slowly from within.
Use the tools you've learned here and remember that quitting is not a race. Worry about today and everything else will fall in line.
