I was a 20+ year, 3-4 can a week copenhagen chewer. Last Wednesday i decided to quit. I have not had a chew since, it's been almost a week. The first 3 days were hell.....spells of dizziness, anger, hot sweats, etc.
Now I'm just drinking a lot of water, chewing sunflower seeds, and using the fake Smokey Mountain snuff, just so I can have something in my mouth.
If I can do it, anybody can!! I'm going strong and am NEVER going to start up again.

There is more support here than you could ever imagine. Get involved and invest in your quit.

Congratulations on making it through the July 4th weekend dip-free. If you can do that, you can make it through anything. Don't get complacent and always be ready for the nic bitch -- she'll come looking for you, trying to woo you back to her.

Great job on the quit. Take your coat off and stay a while. The mofo's on this site are the only reason I am still quit.

We all work together by swearing to be nic free each day. For the most part we are all feeling about the same as we work to the 100th day.

Yes, you will bewith the October quitters---Your 100th day will fall in October---however, that is not important---only your quit today is important.
#1 -- Post roll every day! This is your promise not to dip---you must remain true to your word and then repeat this everyday.
#2 -- You are an addict (learn this)
#3 -- We are here to be your support---read everything on the site and then read it again! Get other people as part of your support as well--wife, family, trusted friend or doctor.

Good start super rob! Same method as me, day 49 and I barely hit the smokey mountain anymore. Believe it or not but everyone on here wants to see you and me quit. They want to quit and we all help each other. Just don't forget those first few days, cave and you have to go through it again!!!!

Super rob, if you don't make your quit a fucking priority, this isn't the place for you. Posting roll is the single most important thing you do each day. Make some time for it; respect your quit and the quits of your brothers, and be here EARLY every fucking day.
This site works if you follow the plan. You ain't special enough to get a hall pass from roll. No one is.
Time to man up, snowflake.

Well that is awesome congrats on doing something that is great for you. Now go back to october and do it right. You are very close. Got to find the latest roll call and add your name to the end of the quitter section.

Went on vacation the past week and a half...am back now on day 28!!
