Title: A new beginning
Post by: jtc1 on March 02, 2012, 08:40:00 AM
Today is day 1! i have been dipping Kodiak for about 20 years. A few years back i quit for about 2 months to have back surgery. Once I fell back in, it became harder and harder. I am tired of the tobacco. I want this to be out of my system. After reading some things on here it was clear that it could be done. I decided that this is it, no more, no matter what it takes I am done.

JT, welcome and great decision on the quit brother. First thing, head up to the Welcome Center (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showforum=13) and learn what we do here (post roll) and why and HOW we do it.

Next, head on over to your new quit group PreHOF June'12 (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showtopic=6044). That means in June, you'll hit 100 days (aka the HOF). Go there and introduce yourself and post up day 1.

Keep reading the words of wisdom, HOF speeches and jump into chat if every once in awhile. Stay close to the site at first and most importantly take it one day at a time!

Glad to be quit with you,
Bruce

Congratulations! And welcome!
As you will read in here, we are all pretty much in the same boat, therefore you are now in the same boat as a QUITTER!
Stay QUIT!
It will get easier everyday, but keep your guard up!

Good decision on kicking Ms. Niccy to the curb. This site can be helpful. There are no short cuts, but here are some links that will help you navigate this site. Rule number one, this is a no nicotine site, period, end of story.

Biggest thing to do is get acquainted with this site. Highly recommend you go here: WELCOME CENTER (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showforum=13)
