Ok guys I have been dipping for about a year now. I have made the decision I don't need it. I'm turning a new chapter in my life. I'm gonna finish college and move on with my life.
I'm pretty much the cross between a country boy and a city slicker. I love hunting, fishing, and well anything that has flashy blinking lights. Thats right imma country computer nerd nerd.
I got me a motorcycle basically a symbol of my freedom from everything that has held me back. She doesn't run yet, but threw my hard work I hope to bring her alive. Sunday is my day that it all changes for me.
So guys pray for me. I'm gonna beat this thing.

Why not today? If quitting can be put off for some reason, can't it be abandoned for some other reason? Quitting means no nicotine for any reason. Do you see how you've failed before you've begun?

the guys are right. Part of your message is encouraging. You're tired of the shit. Great. But, giving yourself a timeline to quit is indeed a bad sign. You see, a lot of us in here are long time dippers. I dipped for 23 yrs and I gave myself timelines a bazillion times. None of them ever worked. Ever. Again, never worked. 170 days ago I started thinking about quitting, found this site and immediately stopped. The one question I will ask you and if you can find a single, reasonable answer then feel free to quit on your schedule. The question is: What are you waiting for?
I'll give you a hint. There is no good answer, so might as well make today your first quit day. What ya think?

I feel I need to tell you that I have you pegged as a caver. Nothing personal - I've failed dozens of times in the past. But the lesson is, you're either ready or you aren't. You either get it or you don't. If someone has to talk you into quitting today, it's not your own idea - and that means you're in trouble.
I'm not cursing you; this is a warning. I'm the engine light on your dashboard. If you know that you've got your thinking well and properly fixed, you can safely ignore this warning.
In any case, this is going to be a wild ride for you. I want you to make it, because everyone that ploughs through the flood of crap that is ahead of you and comes out on the other side makes a bigger believer out of me. I'm glad you're here.

then you've come to the right place. Great decision to quit today! I hope you're a man of your word! Post roll early and daily. It doesn't matter if you've dipped 1 year or 40, you don't want to roll the dice any more and risk getting your face removed...the chicks don't dig it!

I have you pegged for a caver as well. Do you have what it takes to prove us wrong? Get your head in the game, it doesn't come easy, and no one cares about what you "intend" to do. It only matters what you actually do. No one is going to be proud of you for "trying to quit" If you want to make them proud you have to be quit.

Day 4, good work bud, keep going one day at a time, and no matter how hard it gets remember, the battle now is ALL mental, the nic is physically out of your system, and I know a pile of dirt isn't mentally stronger than you.

Man stick with it it gets easier u either going to quit or not quit I've been quit for 78 days now I'm glad I did its just the mind games that fuck with me I've come close to caving but I know what I want I ask myself what the fuck are u doing! Do u want to go bacvk to where ur on day 1 and for a 2 months my mouth hurtin cause its healing and feels like someone is sticking a knife through my jaw,when I think of that I say fuck no I'm puttin my money and energy towards something good I am a martial artist I have a real passion for it trust me it ain't worth it fuck that nic bitch hope this helps :D
