Hi all. I'm new here and was told to post an intro. So I'm 29 and have been dipping for 13 or so years. I have a wife and 4 young kids at home and I need to make it happen this time. I have quit a few times in the past but the longest I have been able to go is about three weeks. I've got a very addictive personality which makes life suck sometime. I really need to make it happen so my kids don't have a dad missing half his jaw some day. Anyways......here it goes!!

Quitters,
The back bone of KTC is posting roll: topic/30025780/36/ (http://forum.killthecan.org/topic/30025780/36/)
Do it every day first thing, stay quit for that day, wake up and repeat.
Replace your addiction with something positive. Everytime you have a craving get on KTC, exercise, drink water, read, play with you kids.
This is your quit, invest in it and don't turn a 13 year addiction into a 23year one!

You're here now.
We know how to do this so listen up and jump in. All in. It takes everything you've got but real freedom is something you haven't known for a looong time. It's waiting for you...

I hope you can marshall your addictive personality into an obsession with learning all you can about how this addiction works and how people here beat it. Learn the tools, make the connections. You have a chance now if you build it- nice job getting started, but now buckle down, hold on, get through each discomfort, create a new life!

Yeah....I'm still looking for a roll post. No post = not serious about the quit. Just my two Lincolns.
EDIT: Nice job with the roll post yesterday evening at 7:30!! Yeah it wasn't perfect, but you're on roll! See you here again today! That's how it is done. One Day At A Time!!
