Hey guys and gals, I'm Taylor from Kansas. I'm 20 years old and have been dipping for about 3 years. I know that's not near as long as some people I've been readin about but we all have one thing in common and that's knowing this won't be an easy task. I had quit smokin cigarettes about 3-4 months ago while just sticking to chew since about 2 hours ago. Im ready to be nicotine free for the rest of my life and this is the most committed ive ever been. Be good to me as I make this step bc I know I'll need some motivation these next few weeks. And I will be more than eager to help u fellas out as well. Well, here we go!

Welcome to quit Taylor. It is a tough beast to get away from but you have come to the right place for support. I wish I could have been as smart as you when I was 20 years old. You have made a great decision, NOW STICK WITH IT NO MATTER WHAT.

Welcome to the site. That morning want and desire for the poison is one of the most difficult. So is the 100 other craves you will have on day one.
Welcome them brother. It means you're quitting. It means that as you beat them down they will get easier and easier to defeat, with time.
One Day at a time and you can have back a lot of what the poison has stolen. Never again for any reason and you can keep it.

yup, this isn't easy, but like Srans said, each time you beat a craving, you learn that you can, and it starts to get easier. Great idea staying on here all the time. That's how I got through the toughest parts so far. Read people's intros from the beginning, and see how we all struggled, and eventually gained an understanding, and then our quit just became part of us. It all happens by posting roll, and doing this one day at a time. It is crazy how fast those numbers add up.
Quit with you today.

"Here goes Hell?" Really? Let's add this up...
Quit now and you'll save money, but have a nagging head ache and constipation and feel nervous. OR
Keep using and risk disfiguring face, jaw and mouth surgery, feeding tubes, months of living in a hospital with all of your family and friends dropping by to say their last goodbye's.
Which one was "Hell" again?
You've made a GREAT choice, brother! You can do this!!!
