Day 22 of my quit. I found this site after having a rough day fighting the nic. 30 yr old from MN, been dipping since college, so its been 11-12 yrs....wow, thats a long time. Looking forward to not having to be a slave to this crap. Sick of having it control my schedule, etc. I am done!!

welcome to the good fight, brother. some KTC basics:
1. roll call- it's our daily promise to ourselves, our quit group, and the site that we will not use nicotine in any form for the day. we make that promise as early as humanly possible, and we make it every day.
2. honor- we honor our word here and hold each other accountable.
you'll pick up the other stuff along the way. read your ass off... there's a ton of information here. read through words of wisdom, read through some HOF speeches, read through some quit groups. you cannot read too much, especially early on.
i'd start with the welcome center (pink link at the top of the page). it covers the basics in more detail and teaches you how to post roll and more importantly, why we do what we do.
you've made a great decision, now invest heavily in your quit. it's a matter of life and death.

Congrats on 22 days...you're off to a great start. Post roll and read all you can. The nic may be out of your system, but the mind games were worse (for me at least) than any withdrawal symptom. As time went by, I would discover new triggers that I didn't know existed, dip dreams, etc. Stay focused.
Remember, quitting is done one day at a time. Don't get ahead of yourself. You just make your daily promise to stay clean and keep your word no matter the cost.
Hollar if you need anything. Stay strong and stay quit. You got this, brother!

You're not quitting on your own now, brother. You're quitting alongside all of us. Let any of us know if you need anything.

Fantastic!!!
I actually found this site when I was 18 days quit and it has definetly helped!
Stick with the plan and post roll everyday, its the accountability that helps along with the comraderie.
Stay QUIT!!!!
