Title: Day 35 but 1 on here
Post by: Kyle d on October 26, 2016, 08:44:00 PM
I'm on day 35 of my quit but I wanted to post on here to show thanks for there being a community. I dipped for 18 years around a can of kodiak every two days. This is by far the hardest challenge I've ever taken on. The worst part of it is the mind games and anxiety. It is getting better but still difficult. More to the point, this site has been an awesome crutch to lean on. I always have somewhere to go. Thanks again.

Lots of folks try to use this site as a "resource" or a "crutch" as you said above.

Screw that! Make yourself the crutch and a resource here for someone else! Become a true quitter and an example for new quitters to look up to. Post roll every day and make new quitters feel like they are letting YOU down when they don't post roll. Form a real quit network and never use nicotine again!

I quit with you today! Stranger999 day 418.

Why don't you fully buy into what KTC is offering and QUIT for real instead of just going it alone and hoping for the best while leaning on a crutch?? My December group has a whole bunch of bad ass quitters that would support you through thick and thin.

However me and my brothers of Dec don't believe in half ass quitting or posting a status update every few days letting us know you haven't filled your lip yet, we wake up and promise each other to stay quit all damn day long and honor that promise. We would be happy to have you as a member of our quit group if you would like to have some accountability and brotherhood.

Welcome to KTC Kyle! Great job posting roll. That is the foundation of what makes this place work. Stay active in your intro and make some friends to lean on. This will be the hardest , and yet the best thing you have ever done for yourself. Freedom from Nicotine is sweeter than you can imagine. You can do this.

Kyle, congrats on the quit!
The mind game are HELL believe me, I was there for a long time, the anxiety fuels the mind games, get that under control before it controls you.
If you need someone to talk with HMU. I've been down the road your on and well just HMU if you need to chat.
