I had seen this website before but i never checked out the forum...2 mornings ago I had a pouch in on the shitter, starting off my day as normal, and registered for this forum...Im now in the 50 hour ball park for being tobacco free and look forward to the rest of my life.

I see that you made it over to October and posted roll. Good work! That's the only price of admission. Wake up, piss, post roll. If you can live by your word for 24 hours at a time, you will succeed and free yourself from the slavery of the nic bitch. You've made a great decision to not let your life be ruled by nicotine. Welcome to freedom!

Glad you decided to post up in October Chauncey! Trust me man, you'll quickly see that quitting now is the best damn decision you could have made.

Get active with your group and shoot me a PM if you need anything.

Chauncey some of the worlds greatest decisions have been made while on the shitter.....looks like your decision can be added to that list. Keep grinding, it gets better.

Welcome to the suck!

It gets better though. Just make your promise daily and keep it. I highly suggest you do some reading of Words of Wisdom and Hall of Fame Speeches. Great stuff man. Get numbers of people. I know..... exchanging numbers with strangers? Hell no!! WRONG!!!! Those are the guys that we see later on down the road posting yet another day 1. Yep! I know form experience personally. I thought I had it and didnt need numbers and lasted all of 4 or 5 days. I came back last year and jumped in both feet and a running. I hope you do to.

The KTC system may seem a bit funky at first, but you will quickly understand why it is how it is. Simply because, it works!

Take care man! I quit with you EDD!

Don't worry about a month from now yet Chauncey. Your mind will be in a completely different state that it is right now. Worrying about tomorrow only makes right now that much harder. Win today. Worry about school when it gets here. You might be surprised at how much stronger you are at that point.

I agree. All we have is today, 24 hours. We are not in control of tomorrow and yesterday no longer matters. Today does matter! One day at a time man!

Hey brother....

Noticed your post this morning about first time being hungover without the added influence of nicotine. Not that I'm preaching (okay, maybe I am preaching, but only a little).....would caution you about excessive alcohol use and new quits. I've seen many a quit derailed because of over-imbibing. May want to back off a bit in the early going.

Quit on, my friend!
