Day 281 here, and I rarely have true craves anymore. I do still get fidgety occassionally, but I am basically disgusted at the sight and smell of any kind of tobacco now. I feel sorry for the folks I see still dipping/chewing. The whole game has changed. Instead of craves, I have what I call "What if....?" moments.

Disclaimer: Everybody is different. It will come in time. Just worry about today, bro.

No offense, but being more active here would help a lot. You've posted roll only 50% of your time here. That isn't enough. You need to make that promise everyday. It helps me with my craves because I know I'll get through them without caving. I know I can call any number of people and they'll help me. If you call, they'll likely wonder who the he'll you are. 14 posts isn't enough when you've been here for 20 days.

And it will give you practice so that you stop messing up roll.

You're an addict. Get to know yourself.

Like the man said...posting roll is a requirement.

Au,

The success of this group requires commitment from each of us. Your quit brothers and sisters (September? where you at guys) should be riding you to get you posting each day. Your success is their success and vice-versa. I am being a dick probably but there are a lot of folks here trying daily to fight addiction. So get with the fucking program.

Cravings differ for all of us. My schtick is patterns...change your patterns to avoid your triggers...rewire your brain away from your old user patterns.

AU,

I am on day 58 and it is better for me today when compared to my day 36.

However, I am still having bad days and times and craves and anxiety. The good days start to become more than the bad--the craves and anxiety are part of the healing--physically and mentally. Remember your day 3 compared to where you are now!

Post roll and make your promise every day to stay quit. I am in your August group--send me a message --let's stay in touch.

You can do this every day--you have no choice!

Peace bro

Bullshit. You can post roll every day. I'm in the fucking middle of the mountains of west Virginia, driving 20 miles to find some wifi (still zero cell coverage) to post during a vacation. When something is a priority to you, you fucking make it happen.

Post roll everyday. It helps with the craves that youre experiencing. :o

To answer your question, cravings become less frequent and less intense over time.

Now, on to something you can control. 100.00% control. Posting roll. Your success with quit improves or dissipates with your commitment to quit. Tend to your quit and it will grow. There is no, repeat, no excuse not to post roll. PM me and ask for my number. You can text me every freaking day you can't post roll and I will post roll for you. Every day. You are worth it. It is just that simple.

Finally read this: index.php?showtopic=2881 (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showtopic=2881) It is titled "Roll Call  It's Meaning.

and this: index.php?showtopic=4689 (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showtopic=4689) "Every Day I Post Roll" by TCOPE.

P.S. What I just read from you is what I characterize and unique and special butterfly talk. I am a original snowflake speak...Addict speak. It is simple. Post roll everyday and honor you word. Damn it is complex is it not? Yet, snowflakes need to fine tune it. Make it just a bit better to fit there special circumstance. You should talk to SolieDeGloria. He freaking texted every freaking day from a hospital room. Damn this shit pisses me off. I can't stop ranting.

Out. 'bang head'
