Hi folks. I tried to quit about two years ago and made it about a week. Harassment by group members about my cravings drove me to quit quitting. A year later I made it 2 months on my own. Now I'm looking to do it right, with friendly people. How do I join a new group

Glad to have you. You stirred a couple questions.
1-were you posting role a couple years ago? If so the site rules dictate you must use that screen name.
2-Your statement about harassment drove you to quit quitting peaked my interest as will others I presume. I of course was not here a couple years ago, so I would like to hear more. What exactly do you mean? From what I've seen the people on this site will bend over backwards to help you in your quit if your serious. If you were not serious about quitting than there lies the problem.
In a nut shell, I would like to know more about your past failure. I would like for you to look deep within yourself and see if maybe the blame should be placed there. Nobody, can make you put the poison in your pie hole but yourself.
I'm not trying to be a a--hole. I want to see if your mind is right for this? Quitting for good will most likely be one of the hardest things you will ever do. Do you have what it takes? Are you ready to post roll and keep your word this time? How bad do you want it my friend?

I don't know what your past experience was, but I know that the people on this site will give you tough love in order to get you through your quit. its up to you on how you take it.
you can do this, dont let the doubt get into your head. Nicotine is your bitch, not the other way around.

I had many stoppages b4 I finally quit, but you need to want to quit for you and no one else. This site can help. Take what you need from KTC and ignore the BS if you get any.

Thanks folks. I'll just post tomorrow since it's about 11:40pm here at the moment. Thanks for the encouragement. I would prefer not to get into my past experience, I prefer to just let things go! :)

As B-loMatt said, this place is tough, even if you post roll everyday because there is a lot of passion in quitting here. We don't coddle and pat on the back here. Get your name on roll and honor your word each day. If there is drama, ignore it, then get your name on roll and honor your word each day. If someone calls you out for doing something "questionable" don't get all butthurt, take your ball, and run home. Digest the constructive, albeit rude and offensive at times, criticism and learn from it.

you will not just magically become quit
you need to work your quit
own it
if you are not going to do things the KTC way, then do not waste our time
