Title: A little about Maddog
Post by: Maddog! on July 13, 2008, 02:27:00 PM
Well everyone I am 40 years old with 4 kids. I have quit chewing off and on for the last 5 years for months at a time. I quit yet again a few weeks back. But it just get harder everytime. My wife and kids have been out of town for a few weeks and will be for a few more weeks also. So know is the time.

I have used nicotine since the age of 16. I have smoked, chewed, and love cigars. I have reach the conclusion I am never going to be able to have just one cigar or cigarette or chew..........I am done.

I was really waivering yesterday when I ran across this site and felt I was not alone in this anymore........even with my family being out of town. I will make it this time......I have all the fake chew I think I will need to make for the few more weeks I will need it. I guess my official date of quit was July 7th 2008 since I had smoked at one point in between my original stop day and then.

Anyway I look forward to being here.......I am located in Phoenix Arizona by the way.

Thank you
Tom

Thanks it nice to be here. I am so glad someone came up with this idea. There seems to be tons of sites for stop smoking.........but nothing for chewing.

This is awesome :D

Glad your here. This place works. Just bein around folks that are there with you or have been where you are provides a foundation to build a lifetime of quit.....not to mention the friendships with complete strangers you may develop.

Welcome....to your last quit.
