Title: Day 4
Post by: cliffordthedog8 on May 06, 2010, 09:18:00 PM
Today is the 4th full day of my quitting. Worst time of my life but I also feel proud. But scared that I will not be able to keep away from it.

I wish I had been smart enough to stop when I was your age. Sadly I kept shoveling that shit in my face for 23 years. You are through the suck, now focus and make it through each day.

Seeds, gum, candy, straws, toothpicks anything you can stuff in your mouth will help with the oral addiction. If you can find some fake snuff in your area that will help also. I used a mix of SMC Wintergreen and Original. I mixed it 50/50 and it gave me a pretty good texture and taste.

Quitting is never easy, you have done the hard work already. Be smarter than I was, keep quitting one day at a time.

I'm pretty sure this was clear, but to be sure, Greg was talking 50/50 of different kinds of FAKE dip. No nicotine involved. Just making sure it was clear that no one is telling you to mix any of the real stuff with anything. You are done with nicotine, bro.

Just nut up and stay quit. Come here and yell at people when you're having a tough time. You'll be in good company.

brother you got this. Drink lots of water, and get some pure cranberry juice, not the sugary watered down stuff ($8 - $10 a bottle but well worth it).

Just focus on one thing - Making it through today.

Repeat tomorrow.
