Hello, I am 19 years old and a new college student. I started dipping about a year and a half ago when my friend introduced me to it. That was the worst decision of my life because I've been hooked ever since to this drug. I have too many important people in my life to continue this habit, a wonderful family, a beautiful girlfriend, and lots of friends. I don't want to lose my teeth, or shorten my life with cancer and gun disease. I appreciate the help, as I tried to quit recently, but was unable to get past the first week. But now I'm putting it in writing and sticking to it. I'm dumping my can out, I've had enough. For good. Wish me luck.

By the way guys, I'll try to post to this daily! Trying to take it one day at a time.

Post daily on roll here. You will probably screw it up but don't worry, someone here will fix it for you. The important thing is to get yourself on this list every morning.

Make a promise to yourself that you won't use nicotine ever again. Post that promise every damn day. There are others in the February group who are where you are right now. There is strength in numbers so join the team Nbeazl. B)B

Great choice! We all deal with our addiction by posting roll -- our promise to quit for one day at a time, every damn day. (ODAAT, EDD)
Drink lots of water, get lots of exercise, and read this site for motivation.
I quit with you today.

Way to go Nbeazl! Proud of you.
Here's the deal: it is not a habit, it is an addiction. You are an addict--just like me. You don't have to let that addiction control your life, though. Post roll every day.
Also, don't "try" to post daily. Just do it. The formula here is simple: post roll when you wake up, keep your promise, and repeat. Do this EDD (every damn day).
Lastly, I will not wish you luck. Luck is not involved in this thing, man. You are 100% in control here.

As stated before luck has nothing to do with it. Make the decision not to use every day. Sometimes early on I was just trying to get through the hour. Drink plenty of water, workout as much as possible, use seeds fake gum or candy. Just keep the nicotine out of your mouth. It sucks until it doesn't, but it gets better every day. And that's the key here don't worry about yesterday or tomorrow. Just win today! If I can do it you can too. Proud to quit with you today. PM me if you need to reach out.

You got this, brother.
Sound advice above. 'I'm with stupid'

We don't try, we do.
4 days since you've "tried" probably means you are back to shoving your mouth full of dip. I guess someone has to pay for all of those private jets the tobacco companies have!
This place is about commitment dude. We don't dangle our big toe in the quit pool; we jump in. Jump in or get out.

Is 2 minutes a day to post roll not worth possibly saving your life? Dude you will still have 23 hour's and 58 minutes, I mean damn brother, let's do this!
