Decided last night to quit, and did a quick google search and found this site. It looks like this online community has helped provide assistance for many people which is great. Little background on myself. I am 21 years old, a senior in college and have been chewing since my freshman year of highscool. So thats about 7 years, I started because of pressure from older athletes on the wrestling and football teams I was on in school. Reason for quitting is the fact that I no longer want to be dependent on something that will harm my body, it just doesnt make sense. I'm looking forward to proving to myself I can do it, wish me luck.

Welcome to the site Moose and Congrats on a great decision. You won't need luck, you will need determination. Stick with this, use the site, help others, and you will be successful. Let me know if I can help.

Welcome Mooseman... you wont need luck around here... If you are quitting today, you are a February HOF quit group... this means you will hit 100days during the month of February 2009... post roll call there, this is our wa of committing to each other that we will not injest tobacco that day in any form... get to know people in your quit group and around the site by posting... hopefully you will find accountability quickly because that helps with a successful quit... being accountable to others that are doing it to... quitting newbies all the way to the old timers.
