Title: On day 2
Post by: Trevo745 on November 16, 2015, 08:03:00 PM
This is my first real attempt at quitting. I have been a user for about 6 years. Before that I smoked for about 5 years. So I have been a nicotine addict for a little more than a third of my life. Which to mist folks on here isn't that bad. I have a pair of youngins and I have always said u would quite before my youngest was old enough to remember. So that is why I am here. I also am tired of this drug dictating how I am going to spend the rest of my days.I was tired of being a slave. Any tips would be awesome and prays much appreciated. Thanx

Trevo, this is the place to free yourself from the dictation of a noxious weed.

First, make sure to flush any cans you have down the toilet... Quit is hard, you don't want temptation.

Drink lots of water, exercise, read up on this site, get somethin (fake chew, candy) for easing craves.

Go to February 2016 quit group, post roll - your promise not to use nicotine for 24 hours. Repeat every morning when you wake.

Exchange digits with your fellow quitters, we are stronger together than alone.

Then the youngens will reap the rewards of having a dad.
Just quit today.
Great attempt to post roll.
Do it again in the morning.

We will give you more than tips, we will show you how to do it. But you have to do it, not just talk about doing it.

It looks like you attempted to post roll yesterday, but until you put your name down when you post roll, no one will put effort into you.

Post your name and your number of days quit, even if you do it wrong. Then an army of quitters will help you fine tune your posting.
