Title: Introduction
Post by: Tletizia2001 on October 01, 2013, 04:18:00 PM
Hello fellow nicotine addicts. My name is Tony. Started dipping about 5 years ago to try to quit smoking after about 12 years. Pretty sad considering I'm 33. I finished my last tin yesterday morning. (Imagine thatÂ…I saved one last pinch for yesterday morning). Today is tough but reading this site helps. It's good to know there is support!

Congratulations on your much better decision this time. Learn the site, read and read and read. Post roll in your quit group and remember to do so daily.

Prepare for the "suck" which will be the first few days of your quit. You will feel weak and confused during this time. Nut up and bear through it. You need to identify to yourself why you are quitting, use that to propel your quit these first few days through the suck.

Remember your suck and use it to propel the rest of your quit.

Prepare yourself by drinking lots of water and find a replacement because you will more than likely need an oral fixation supplement. Nicotine is not the answer, this site is 100% Nic free.

Check in you Inbox for a PM from me with more information and my number if you need guidance at anytime.

Great job posting roll. Now we don't have to worry about you today. You are right, reading on here really helps. Read everything. Find any quitter that sounds half way together and read their thread from the beginning and you will find someone who has struggled and persevered through exactly what you are going through.

You can do this. PM me for another number.

Hey Tony, glad to have you here quitting with us all today. Things will be tougher before they get better, but the idea behind this site is incredibly simple: do not use nicotine in any form today and post roll promising the same.

The idea is simple but tough, but you can do it. Just take things ODAAT, keep throwing the +1's on your total. Glad to be quit with you today.
