Title: Too much time lost
Post by: Copewinter on June 20, 2016, 11:41:00 AM
Its time I dont let this stupid can run my life anymore. Since I started in 2010 ive spent thousands, gained 50 lbs, my oral hygene has gone to shit and now im done letting every aspect of my life be controlled by when my next dip is going to be. Today is day 4 and damn I am hurting bad. Im naucious and didnt sleep last night. My mind is only thinking about dip. Encouragement is greatly needed, im getting married this time next year and I will not start my life with her and the little can in my pocket.

Welcome Copewinter! You've made the best decision of your life. You're in the worst of it now, but it gets better quickly. Freedom feels incredible!

KTC will provide great encouragement and support, but also accountability. You need to go to topic/11649440/140/#new (http://forum.killthecan.org/topic/11649440/140/#new) and start posting Roll. Roll is a daily promise that you will not use any form of nicotine for 24 hours. It seems silly, but it's the backbone of the system here. Keep your word for 24 hours and then do it again the next day.

You can't change the past, but you can invest in yourself today and stop being a slave to some damn poison. Get involved with your group, post EVERY MORNING and keep your word. Exchange numbers with other folks in your group and post often. You will be on the other side soon enough.

Reach out if I can help in any way!

You think 6 years is bad . .there are guys here who dipped for decades upon decades. Glad you've found the resolve to quit now.

Get involved. Post roll early every day. It's your promise every day not to use.

Some people are here because they just want "encouragement."

As soon as they find out something will be expected of them, they're: 'blowup'
