This is Day 1 for me after 15 years of Copenhagen. It was time for several reasons, primarily for myself but also for my wife and two sons. Submitting to peer pressure fueled by basically year round baseball in high school and throughout college kept me at or around a can each day and I've continued at that pace for the 7 years since finishing school. It's nice to know a place like this exists, I just wish I had found it sooner. I've found it now, though, and dammit I'm ready for this challenge!

Perfect. Welcome. Today is truly a great day.

Great choice!!! I like your attitude. But, it's not really a "challenge" as much as a decision. You decided you are quit today. We're not just "seeing if we can do it" or "giving it a shot." We're quit...period.
We take things one day at a time. But when we post roll, we eliminate using nicotine as a possibility for that day. Then, we wake up and do it all over again.
Read all you can. Understanding addiction is the key to fighting it. PM if you need anything. You got this, brother. YOU CAN DO THIS.

I agree, quitting tomorrow isn't in my mind but when I put my name on that list every morning it removes any chance of useing nicotine today. In order for me to cave I've got a damn long list of quitters that I've got to go through to ask for permission to cave. I'm positive not a single one would say yes so, I will never ask! And I will never say yes to them! The respect for this brotherhood and my part in it keeps me quit! Join in, drink the damn koolaid, man-up and quit with me and a bunch of other addicts everyday. As the days roll by it becomes more evident that this is the best way to stay nicotine free. And I can promise you several things: it will suck, it will be hard at times, it will be easy at times, you don't ever have to face it alone, there is always someone out there that is going through the same thing or has gone through it and at the end of the each day you can stand back and say I'm proud of myself and love this freedom! Pm me if you need anything.

I just checked to see if you posted roll and didn't see your name. When you put your balls on the line ill be happy to quit with you. I'm 41 days in and I quit with you. Come on in, the water is just fine!
