Glad to have found this site. I am on day 5 of the rest of my life now having completed a full work week successfully.
Like many others I started in my teens. When I was 15 I tried Kodiak on a wrestling bus trip and was hooked. That same year I switched to Copenhagen and dipped it up until the 7th of July.
Where I grew up it was very common for my friends to be dipping and many adults as well. I have worked in the Information Technology field for 12 years where it was always easy to hide the habit.
I am quitting for myself as I want to live to see my son grow up and not burden my wife with the potential of becoming a widow because of a habit that I can stop and control.

Glad you've quit
#1. This is not a habit, it is an addiction.
#2. You can't control it. All you can do is quit and stay quit. There's no such thing as just one.
#3. Quit for yourself, so you will feel better and you will live longer.
#4. Post roll with us each morning and honor your word. This is the key to success.
#5. Win today. Today is all that matters.
#6. Make some friends, get some numbers, text and call some quit brothers. This is a brotherhood. You will come to see that if you make #1-#5 your new daily ritual.
I quit with you today. Please read the welcome center, the intros, the HOF speeches, and the words of wisdom. The philosophy here is simple. Follow the path. Success is within your reach.
Welcome.

Welcome Justinsm2! Grizzlyhasclaws gave good advice. Remember you are an addict, like all of us, for the rest of your life. It's not easy to be quit, but if you've made the decision, you can do it. I quit with you today.
