Introductions / Re: Day 1... I quit

Given the 20 years I chewed, it's still a drop in the bucket BUT it's also a profoundly satisfying thing to give a tip 'o' the hat to on the way to the next milestone!
Thirteen. Years.
A LOT of life has happened during that stretch.
I've moved into my 50's. My daughter graduated high school then college and is on her way to Dublin for her graduate studies. My wife and I celebrated 30 years of marriage AND she moved into her 50s (and was NOT amused by it!). My grandad died... my gran died... my mom died. Covid fuckered the world up. Trump continues to fuck the world up. We went to Italy. We went to France. I've had a few health "hiccups". I retired from music and I'm looking down the barrel of early retirement from my "day" job. And so on and so forth. Life. In all its messy frustrating brutal painful emotional confusing beautiful joyful special exciting gift from God glory.
All that and still, to this day, I will tell you... the single most brutal and beautiful thing I've ever done is quit. Quit. All for me.
So, quit. Just do it now or... stay that way. For you.
