Your right it wasn't a bad habit it was IS an addiction
Fixed that for ya

You're always going to have the addiction. The question is "Are you going to feed that addiction?". Because we fed our bodies an addictive substance, we altered how the chemicals in our brains work. Nicotine takes the brain to a happy place through chemicals. That's why your body wants it so bad. It makes your brain release chemicals thinking it's happy and it digs its claws into us so we don't want to put it down.

While our lips are breaking down and poison courses through our veins, we still think its good. Hell, it kills many people eventually and they still want the drug EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW IT IS KILLING THEM!

Addiction sucks and the minute that you believe you are no longer an addict is when you will fail again. We say "never again for any reason" with purpose: We need to know it. We need to believe it. We need to follow it.

It gets easier man. Post roll. You should have the instructions on how to. It's where we start our quits. It's what we base them on. Everything else is up to you. Do or do not. There is no try.
Yep...^^^^^^^^ = BA!

Post roll.

In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. My name is Justin I'm on day 5 of trying to quit and it's been rough and being a mechanic doesn't help at all and racing motocross I grew up looking st all the top riders doing it and wanted to be just like them so I picked up this bad habit 6 years ago it's been really hard but I believe in this site and all that it can do to help me it's going to be hard not to put a chew in when I'm putting on my gear and listen to music before my Motos but I need to do it to be able to chase my dreams and get married someday and it doesn't help that all of my friends chew
Justin,

A 6 year habit doesn't control your life. A 6 year addiction does. You do not have a habit, you have an addiction. You are an addict to nicotine. So are the top motocross riders that you admire. You need to admit you are an addict, like all of us at KTC.

6 years is too long to feed and addiction. 6 years quickly becomes 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 30 years. Post roll every day first thing in the morning and make this daily quit the routine in your life.

Motolife, you've got this brother! 5 days by yourself is bad ass. You can get a ton of support here but you need to do your part. We post roll every day first thing in the morning and make our promise to not use nicotine for 24 hours. We keep our promise and then we repeat the next day. Your quit date puts you into the March 2016 group here. Find the last roll post and read the instructions. You will most likely fuck up your first several attempts to post roll but that is OK - someone will fix it. The only way you can screw it up is to not be on it. ;)

Hey, man. I used to work on hydraulics on heavy machinery so I know where you're coming from. Dipping while you're working just goes together, haha. If you're on day 5 then you're probably through the worst of it! Just take it one day at a time. Every time you fight off a craving you get stronger! If you have any questions or need to talk just send me a message.
