Congrats on a great choice, BT!!! Learn how and why we post roll. Then do it...everyday.

Yes, it will suck. But embrace the suck. That is the feeling of healing. And as bad as it gets, it has to way better than saying goodbye to your 1 yr old daughter!!!

Read the Tom and Jenny Kern story. And then read everything else. Post roll and repeat. YOU CAN DO THIS.
Great Decision Yesterday!

Lets make that decision AGAIN TODAY!

And lets make it even stronger by making a personal promise on Roll.

Your group is September: topic/11155274/

100 days will be a great Birthday Present to yourself.

You fight for freedom...... fight now for your own Freedom...... Free from chains.

I'm here to stand with you EDD ODAAT.

Hello recently joined here. Decided to quit yesterday. I have been on this habit for around 10 years now. I am military and i did quit one time but was basic training so it was forced, but i relapsed right after i graduated. I am now on my first day at the 18 hour mark which is the longest i have gone since basic training 6 years ago. I have slept about 5 hours on and off in this time. Hope to meet some new and exciting people while im here.

I also planned on quitting yesterday because 100 days would land on my birthday. actually did not plan that out but it works out so that would be amazing.
Welcome! First let me say thanks for serving this country. I respect you for that. Second, to address your addiction. The wait it works here is we have a system where you make a promise to a group of quitters every single day that we won't use nic for 24 hours. We do this each and every day. It's the absolute most important part of how the program works. So, before you get involved to much, ask yourself if you're going to be willing to do that. It takes all of maybe 5 seconds. There are other parts too that are very important, but posting roll is above all others. The program is successful, and will work for you, but only if you follow it. If you feel like it will work for you then, I suggest you read the Welcome Center thread, and then go to your group and post your first days roll. I believe your group will be September. Good luck to you!
