Let me know if I'm doing something wrong, but I believe I posted roll last night and about 20 minutes ago, please do let me know if I did that incorrectly.

I'm the most recent unread post as of 3:15 pm.

Good job of posting roll today Mason, but you should post role as early in the day as possible. Late afternoon postings often are problematic in that your quit group will be looking for you when they do not see you post with the majority. Late evening roll posts also hinder the guys that keep up with the spreadsheet, so your early roll posts will be much appreciated.
It is 8:15 PM Mason, where the hell are you? You need to post roll if you are still quit...and you are still quit aren't you? Others are looking for you as well.

Welcome to the site Mason.

Let's be sure about a few things here. There is no LUCK, and there is no TRY. Round here, we just quit. Make that decision each morning and take that option right off the table.

Sounds like you have thought this thru and are well prepared. Now go do what wmcatty said. Post roll and read all you can on the site.

I quit with you today. Click on the link for posting roll.

Hello Gang.

So, going on about 21 hours of being quit I've decided to introduce myself.  Sadly enough I had my last chew in when I created my profile last night (maybe it's ironically fitting), but out of respect I stayed in the shadows until being fully on board.  I spent some quality time browsing the site 1 full week ago and set my quit day for today.  I spent the following days prior to today taking some of the appropriate steps in prepping: informing my couple close friends, my one roommate, parents, and girlfriend (whom I pre-apologized to for being an asshole for no reason for the coming weeks, but also introduced her to the site), then also thoroughly reading most threads on this site, about quit groups, and how and why to post roll.

I'm 26 and HAD been chewing multiple times a day (realistically 3-5) everyday, for 7+ years.  For the first 5 Copenhagen Long Cut, migrated to Cope poaches in the last 2 years (made the most sense as it made chewing at work a much easier task).  Born and raised in Nor Cal, I started on a tractor from a cousin while hauling hay, continued it through 5 years of playing college football, and dropping it now that I live on the beach in Los Angeles.

I believe I've set myself up to succeed as best I can, with all my virtual and non virtual resources in place, industrialized sized package of toothpicks in their proper places, the journey begins.  With that said, let's post some rolls and rock and roll.....

Lastly, I'd be more than pleased to be a shoulder, resource, brother, accountability buddy, whatever you fuckin need, my number is yours.  Don't hesitate to reach out, I'm sure I will.

Mason.
Welcome aboard Mason. I just checked in on the December 2013 quit group and saw that you had not posted roll yet. First and foremost, you will need to post Roll. Roll is your daily promise to yourself and all of your new brothers and sisters that you will not use tobacco in any form that day. You will post your name and the number of days you are quit each day in the December 2013 quit group. Each and every day you will post your promise. No exceptions. That is the price of admission to KTC. Nothing more and nothing less. The reason you are put in December 2013 quit group is that will be the month if you join us today that you will celebrate being 100 days free of nicotineÂ…your Hall of Fame date.
Now that you know the basics, it is time to read all you can on this site. Go to the welcome center (noted in salmon color in the upper left hand corner of this screen) and that will get you started. Post roll and look up at your inbox (1). That is a personal message from me with my telephone number. Call me with any question or if you just need to talk to someone. Wayne

Good luck, I am on 6 days. It has been very interesting to say the least. I was on nicotine for about 30 years. Dip  cigs. After 72 hours it gets better. I woke this morning and had no urge for a dip!! I feel great! Had small craving during the day but they only lasted seconds. Remember cravings can only last 3 minutes no longer. Watch the clock then they are gone. Once your body is free of nicotine you will still have "triggers" but once no nicotine is given then that trigger is diminished  eventually goes away. This is happens pretty quick. I had night sweats, insomnia, nausea, gas, diarrhea, and was falling asleep when a trigger would happen. My body decided to sleep when I would not give it nicotine! Not bad, except it loved crashing me at work and while driving!! That was exciting. I was in a total fog/ dizziness state for a few days. When a trigger would happen I would either fall asleep or get a dizzy spell that carried me over the craze. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Nicotine is a bitch and you can't play with her. I am new to this site, not sure if in posting correctly. Buckle down get ready for the ride, people are here for you.
